Sometimes it feels like you 'can't see the wood for the trees'.... but even though February is not yet done, the wood is very much coming into our line of sight!

Every three years, the red-brick Victorian church on Sandpit Lane is transformed into a magical woodland of decorated Christmas trees, thanks to the hard work, generosity and creative pzazz of local organisations and community groups who add their own particular sparkle to the event!
Planning is at an early stage, with the title 'Past, Present & Yet to Come....' as an overall theme to bring it all together. As always the festival is free to all who want to come and enjoy the festive spectacle, but of course donations are always welcome, and proceeds will be shared between St Saviour's Development Fund and Herts Young Homeless who provide vital support to local young people in crisis. You can read more about their current Winter Appeal here.
Any groups or organisations who would like to know more about sponsoring and decorating a tree, please contact Laura at treefest.stsaviours@gmail.com.
If you are a local business or individual willing to sponsor any other aspect of the festival (e.g. banners, programme, beer, mulled wine, mince pies and a lot more!) then please contact Fr Richard on vicar.stsaviours@gmail.com.
