Songs from GODSPELL
Following on from last year's sell-out production at the Cathedral, St Albans Musical Theatre Company presents a one-off concert performance of songs from the ever-popular hit musical by Stephen Schwartz, based on material from St Matthew's Gospel.

Jazz & Prosecco
Beer & Fizz favourites and weekly regulars at The Holly Bush, the Redbourn Jazz Band are bringing their classic jazz sound to St Saviour's for a chilled evening to help us hang on to summer a little longer!
The Jolly Saviour licensed bar will be offering prosecco, wine and beers (with alcohol-free options available)

Tuesday 22 Sept, 8pm
Our Changing Climate
Chris Packham presents a new film outlining the urgency of our climate crisis. Produced for the National Emergency Briefing held in London last November, this informative and challenging film is being shown across the UK and beyond as communities come together to discuss climate resilience in the face of escalating impacts - like the recent extreme heat.

Saturday 26 September, 2pm
Ver Valley Walk
Led by volunteers from The Ver Valley Society, the linear route is approximately 5.5 miles with a shorter circular option for any who would prefer to retrace their steps from the Watermill back to the Church. Children and young people welcome if accompanied by an adult but please note the route is not pushchair friendly! Dogs on leads are also welcome!

Saturday 3 October 2026, 12-4pm & 7.30pm
A Harvest of Voices
All are welcome at this joyful one-day celebration of Gospel music, heritage & community! Learn uplifting Gospel songs in the afternoon (including harmony, technique and performance coaching) and then bring it all to life in the evening with a performance with visiting choirs and Special Guests.

Pendergast & Farrell
Presented by St Albans Folk Music
Rooted in the rich traditions of English and Maritime Canadian folk music, Lucy Farrell and Shane Pendergast bring together two distinct yet complementary voices in contemporary folk in a concert that ends their duo tour.

Burns' Night Dinner
Celebrate Burns' Night with good food, great company, a expert salutation of the haggis and an entirely suitable selection of whiskies!
Once again our friends at The Carpenters Arms in Harlington offer a superb 3 course traditional Burns' supper (with veggie and gluten-free options available). Food, table wine and whiskies included in the ticket price.

Parish Retreat at Pleshey
As part of St Saviour's 125th Anniversary year, we will welcome Br Tobias SSF to lead our annual retreat. We return to the House of Retreat in Pleshey, Essex for a weekend of prayer, reflection and worship. More details of the weekend's theme will be announced in due course, along with costs and booking details.
Br Tobias is a professed member of the First Order of The Society of St Francis and based in Plaistow, East London.

Mark Harrison
Mark is an established singer-songwriter and guitarist who performs all-original songs in his own very individual style, with elements of rock, folk, blues & Americana. He has been frequently featured on BBC Radio 2 Pick of the Week show and the Radio 2 Folk Show, and he and his band have been live guests on Cerys Matthews’ Radio 2 show.

Track Dogs
Comprised of 2 Irishmen, 1 Englishman and 1 American the band came together in 2011 to make their unique brand of acoustic music; a veritable 4×4 of voices and instruments identified for their dynamic fusion of styles including folk, latin, Americana & even some bluegrass.
This is their 5th visit to St Saviour's - and we can't wait!

The Captain's Beard - Live!
The Captain's Beard are a folk-rock, pirate band from Brighton, UK. Their music ranges from traditional folk and sea shanties, upbeat originals and downright silly songs about Cockney Mermaids, English Monarchs and rubbish vans.
This is the band's first gig in St Albans, and The Jolly Saviour bar is already researching the best rum-punch recipies!
